Overview
The Northeast Center's Feasibility Program will offer researchers, educators and non-agricultural safety experts support for initial projects that show potential for expanding agricultural health and safety capabilities in the NE region. These are projects that might lead to a larger and more formal project at some point in the next few years. The NEC has a well-established process for soliciting, evaluating, contracting, and tracking feasibility projects. In the past this program has been successful at encouraging collaborations, and stimulating innovative approaches. In the past four years, we have funded 21 projects in seven states throughout the northeast, in the areas of research, prevention, intervention, or education. Our intent is that the program will continue to encourage these types of initiatives.
